Our cutting-edge AD (Anaerobic Digestion) plants are at the heart of the circular economy, helping communities reduce landfill and protect the planet.

Now, we’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic AD Site Operative to join our team in Widnes. If you’re hands-on, safety-conscious, and want to make a real difference in a growing green industry, we’d love to hear from you.

 The Role

As an AD Site Operative, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our site running smoothly. From operating machinery to ensuring safe handling of materials, no two days will be the same. You’ll be part of a supportive team where your ideas and commitment really count.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting management with the safe, efficient operation of the site
  • Operating mobile plant and equipment safely and effectively
  • Handling incoming raw materials and supporting weighbridge processes
  • Ensuring high standards of site cleanliness, maintenance, and compliance
  • Supporting traffic management and helping with paperwork as required
  • Playing an active role in meeting environmental and production standards

 What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with a practical, can-do attitude who thrives in a fast-moving environment. Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Experience in a manufacturing, recycling, or FMCG setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Confidence handling raw materials (some heavy lifting required)
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality & safety standards (HACCP)
  • Basic IT skills and willingness to complete relevant training
  • A forklift truck licence (advantageous, but not essential)
