Role: Performing Arts/ Drama Lecturer

Rate: 30-35p/h
Contract: Temporary, Part-time
Eden Brown are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Drama Teacher to join the team at a leading further education college for 3 hours per week, starting 4th November until Christmas.
This role is to teach Level 2 Performing Arts Students on Tuesday afternoons 1.15-4.30 with a 15 minute break.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver practical workshops, acting techniques, support devised projects, assisting with directing plays.
*Guide students through the development of devised projects, fostering creativity and individual expression.
*Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
*Support students in preparing for performances, both within the classroom and through external events.
What We're Looking For:
*Degree or equivalent in Performing Arts, Theatre, or a related field.
*Experience teaching Performing Arts, ideally with Level 2 students or similar age groups. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) is desirable but not essential.
*A thorough understanding of a variety of acting techniques and performance styles.
*Ability to inspire students, fostering a collaborative and dynamic classroom environment.
*Excellent Communication Skills
A DBS is required for this role.
