Are you a skilled maintenance professional with a passion for precision engineering and continuous improvement? We're looking for a Machine Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our advanced manufacturing operations.

?? Key Responsibilities
  • Rapid response to machine breakdowns in the engineering workshop
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance, including TPM activities
  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
  • Electrical installations in compliance with BS 7671 (18th Edition)
  • Maintenance of CNC machines (Mazak, Hardinge, DMG), pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems
  • TIG welding, fabrication, and assembly support
  • Facilities maintenance - HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and utilities
  • Contractor and supplier liaison
  • Compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and legal standards
  • Accurate documentation of all maintenance and compliance activities
??? What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting safe, efficient operation of all machinery and systems
  • Performing and recording planned maintenance and statutory inspections
  • Assisting with machine installations and modifications
  • Identifying and mitigating safety and operational risks
  • Participating in EHS incident reporting and audits
  • Collaborating across departments to reduce downtime and improve reliability
? What We're Looking For
  • Recognised apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 / HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
  • Strong diagnostic skills across electrical and mechanical systems
  • 18th Edition BS 7671 certification (City & Guilds 2382 or equivalent)
  • Experience with CNC equipment, TPM, and proactive maintenance
  • TIG welding and light fabrication skills (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and EHS best practices
  • Proactive, safety-conscious, and solution-oriented mindset
