Thrive Group is currently recruiting enthusiastic and flexible Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of primary schools across the Merseyside City Region. Supply teaching is ideal for any teacher with any level of experience; ECT’s get the chance to demonstrate what you can do to secure those valuable long term roles and if you are an experienced teacher it gives you a chance to try new schools which will lead to fresh and exciting challenges. 

What the role involves and gives:

  • Work on a day-to-day or short-term basis in primary schools across Merseyside City Region, covering EYFS, KS1 and KS2 depending on your skills and preferences.

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher.

  • Gain exposure to a wide range of year groups, teaching styles, and school cultures.

  • Builds confidence and develops classroom management skills in a supported setting.

  • Potential for long-term or permanent opportunities in schools you enjoy working with.

What we need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

  • Passion for teaching and a flexible, positive approach to new environments.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • Recent, relevant references covering the last 5 years.
