Primary Teaching Assistant - WidnesPay Rate: £85 - £90 per day

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive primary school in Widnes. This full-time role offers the chance to make a real difference in a supportive educational environment that values both academic success and personal development.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

  • Provide 1:1 and small group interventions, particularly for pupils who need additional academic or emotional support

  • Assist with classroom preparation and resource development

  • Help manage classroom behaviour and support an inclusive learning atmosphere

  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to meet the needs of individual pupils

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a UK primary school setting is essential

  • Confidence working with children of varying abilities and needs

  • A proactive and positive attitude

  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
