Lee Hallard Building Services may be your ticket to an exciting opportunity as a Senior Multi-Skilled Joiner, with Concept Joinery Ltd (trading as Lee Hallard), one of the best small companies in the industry with a plethora of prestigious industry awards to its name. They are based in Widnes, Cheshire and operate throughout the Cheshire, Knowsley & Merseyside region.

Your Mission:

As a Multi-Skilled Joiner, you'll be the driving force behind our small team, taking the lead on exciting and varied projects; working in private homes, commercial premises, shops, churches, listed buildings and the like to deliver top-drawer responsive maintenance, repairs & complete projects. They are looking for a skilled carpenter who can get the job done and right the first time, every time. He or she will lead a small team taking responsibility for looking after and overseeing the on-site training of juniors.

They place great emphasis on being a friendly family organisation with a smart and professional approach to every aspect of our business. The right candidate can look forward to financial incentives moving forward to managerial status & possibly directorship in the future? They are very well established so you'll never be out of work. It starts with a temporary contract, lasting three months. If you do a super job, they will commit to doing ours and secure you into a full-time role in this thriving and progressive company, with a starting annual salary of £33,000.

What's in Your Toolbox:

You'll be a master craftsman or woman that can delight our clients and its customers, but have you got:

  • A proven track record in Joinery with an honest & friendly personality to fit in with our family?
  • A full clean driving licence.
  • An NVQ or an equivalent qualification in Joinery.
  • Extra skills are a bonus - think, roofing, plastering, basic electrics, and plumbing. Possibly painting & decorating?


Your Responsibilities:

As our Multi-Skilled Joiner, you'll be at the forefront of action. You'll love working with people and being on the tools. One day you could be tackling reactive maintenance on properties in the area or transforming somebodys house with the addition of a beautiful fitted kitchen, bathroom or bedroom. You will gain the opportunity to work on some of the regions most valuable listed buildings and carry out work that will be seen and appreciated for hundreds of years into the future. You will come to appreciate the genuine thanks from a grateful customer when you hand over a completed job. You will make a difference to peoples lives almost every day.

They'll expect you to navigate your way in the company van provided and know your way around their computerised accounts & calendar systems for streamlined operations.

Hours are 37.5hrs per week Monday to Friday. You may occasionally be asked to work late.

Typically you will work as part of a two person team.
