Job Description
We are seeking an experienced TIG Pipe Welder to join our client's team on a contract basis. This role will involve a mix of site-based and workshop-based work, focusing on stainless and carbon steel pipe welding. Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless and carbon steel pipes in both workshop and site environments.
- Ensure all work meets industry standards for safety, quality, and precision.
- Collaborate with the team to complete projects efficiently from fabrication to installation.
- Adhere to project timelines and specifications while maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a TIG Pipe Welder, with expertise in stainless and carbon steel.
- Valid CSCS or CCNSG certification is essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence preferred, due to site-based travel requirements.
Location
The role is based in Widnes, with work covering a 15-mile radius. This local focus ensures minimal travel and supports a balanced work-life schedule.
Remuneration
- Basic rate: 24.50 per hour (payable via umbrella, CIS, or limited company).
- Overtime uplift: 3 per hour for both Overtime 1 and Overtime 2.
