About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our client's team in Widnes. This role offers an excellent pay rate in line with NAECI standards, starting at £20.41 per hour.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality welding and fabrication work while maintaining strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks to ISO 9606-1 standards for both Butt Welds and Fillet Welds.

Read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.

Adhere to site safety procedures and complete mandatory safety training before starting work.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Welding Requirements:

ISO 9606-1 Qualified in MAG135 process.

Competent in Butt Welds (Plate, ≥3mm thickness, PA position).

Competent in Fillet Welds (Plate & Pipe, ≥3mm thickness, PA & PB positions).

Ability to work with multi-layer welds using Dip, Pulsed, Globular, and Spray transfer modes.

Safety Training & Awareness (Training may be provided if not up to date):

Abrasive Wheels Safety

Eye & Respiratory Protection (RPE)

Electrical Safety

Environmental Awareness
