Job Overview
Our client inWiganis seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital design and web design, with the ability to create visually appealing graphics that engage and inspire our audience. This role requires proficiency in various design tools and an understanding of current design trends. You will work closely with other team members to develop innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Duties

  • Create compelling visual designs for digital platforms, including websites, social media, and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualise and execute design projects from start to finish.
  • Utilise tools such as Figma and Adobe After Effects to produce high-quality graphics and animations.
  • Conduct video editing tasks to enhance visual storytelling across various media.
  • Develop user-friendly web designs while ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into your work.
  • Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final designs.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role, showcasing a strong portfolio of work.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Figma.
  • Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.
  • Experience with InVision or similar prototyping tools is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital design principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design ideas clearly.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually stunning designs.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in Graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency
  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline
  • Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems
  • Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software
