Job Role: Branch Manager
Reports to: Operations Manager
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08.30-17.30
Location: Wigan Head Office
Introduction & Job Purpose
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hub Manager looking to take their next step and join the team at Challenge trg Group. Challenge trg Group is a privately owned specialist logistics UK company that has a portfolio of complementary businesses.
You will be responsible for all aspects from sales generation and growth, through to workforce management, working closely with your peers, team and Senior Management. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate how you have previously built a successful and sustainable desk/ branch, handled volume recruitment and managed the end-to-end recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales lead generation and conversion
- Margin Management and budget delivery
- Colleague recruitment/planning/management
- Business development
- Attending client meetings
- Providing management information
- Representing the client and company brand in a professional manner
- Using own initiative to source suitable candidates in a challenging market

- Act in a calm, professional and confidential manner at all times
- Energetic and upbeat manner
- Willingness to work extended or unsociable hours during peak periods
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
Experience and Skills:
- Good business sense
- Good communication skills, both oral and writing
- To be self-motivated but able to work as part of a team
- Experience of working as a Senior Consultant/Branch Manager
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to work to deadline
- Fantastic customer service and account management skills
- Good personal and relationship building skills
- Previous experience/knowledge of the logistics/driving industry
