Our client is a successful M&E contractor, with 4 offices in the North of the UK - this role will be based form their North West office. Theyare seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join their operationalteam to work on new-buildprojects e.g they havesignificantresidential schemes anda healthcare scheme. The Role and its Responsibilities

The Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for managing the mechanicalinstallation of projects from 'cradle to grave' & will beclient-facing and largely office-based, with site visits N.B. there will be full-time site managers based on projects managing the day-to-day.

The Individual

The successfulcandidate will be a seasoned Mechanical Project Manager with experience managing large projects.The successful candidate must be capable of demonstrating strong client-facing skills, excellent commercial awareness, and the ability to manage a project from cradle to grave.

They should also be willing to travel between sites and monitor and assess progress and help provide solutions where required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as aMechanical Project Manager, preferably on new build/refurbishment projects from 'cradle to grave'.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, some electrical awareness is also advantageous
  • Excellent client management and communication skills, with the ability to foster strong client relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage project budgets effectively.
  • Ability to demonstrate a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
