Sonic Summary

This is a 12-month contract position for a Registered Building Inspector in the Local Authority Building Control department.
The role offers a salary of £55 - £60 per hour and is classified as outside IR35.
Candidates should have experience working on domestic building control projects, with a focus on class 2A.
While local authority experience is not essential, applicants with 2A, 2B, or 2D registration are encouraged to apply.
The position requires on-site work for at least three days a week, with the possibility of remote plan checks and overtime for hours exceeding 37 per week.

Contract Position for Building Control department - Local Authority Building Control

12 month contract

Registered Building Inspector

55 - 60 per hour (outside IR35)

Working on site 3 days per week as a minimum on site inspections across the area, focussing mainly on class 2A (domestic) building control projects
You will work in a well staffed team on a long term contract basis
Open to surveyors with 2A , 2B, 2D registration
Plan checks can be done remotely, working from home
Ovetime rates apply for work above 37 hour contract

Must be able to work on domestic building control projects on site and at planning stage

Local Authority experience is not essential. Role can start in January if preferred
