Recruit4staff is seeking a CNC Programmer for a precision engineering company in Wigan.
The role involves creating CNC programs, programming, setting, and operating CNC milling centres, and designing 2D and 3D models.
The salary for this position ranges from £39,000 to £44,000 per annum, with plenty of overtime available at time and a half.
Candidates should have CAD CAM programming experience, familiarity with Heidenhain controls, and a background in precision engineering.
Essential qualifications include City and Guilds or ONC, and applicants should have experience reading complex engineering drawings.

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established precision engineering company in their search for a CNC Programmer to work in Wigan

Job Role: Creating CNC programs based on customer specifications and engineering drawings. Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling centres to produce low volume, complex components. Designing 2D and 3D models. Developing toolpaths and instructions for milling centres using Heidenhain controls.

Job Details:

Pay: £39,000 - £44,000 per annum
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm, 7am - 3pm Fridays
Duration: Permanent
Benefits: Plenty of overtime available at time and a half

Essential Skills & Experience:

CAD CAM programming
Heidenhain controls
CNC Milling
Experience working in a precision engineering environment
Experience reading complex engineering drawings

Desired Skills & Experience:

Hurco controls experience
Experience working with exotic metals

Essential Qualifications:

City and Guilds or ONC qualifications
