Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality group sessions and workplace assessments for Horticulture Level 2 apprentices.

  • Monitor, review, and support apprentice progress through SMART action plans and Functional Skills delivery where required.

  • Work collaboratively with employers, awarding bodies, and curriculum teams to enhance the college's horticulture apprenticeship provision and align with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience delivering Horticulture training and workplace assessments.
  • Strong professional background in the Horticulture industry.
  • Recognised Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, or equivalent) and relevant Horticulture qualification.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting apprentices' success.
  • Familiarity with Apprenticeship Standards and End Point Assessment (EPA) processes.
