We are seeking a Draughtsperson for an IMMEDIATE START to join our one of our clients on a temporary basis for 3 months. This role is essential to cover absence and assist with an increased workload. The successful candidate will be proficient in using Autodesk Inventor and ideally have experience with Autodesk Vault. The focus will be on producing parts from sheet metal, contributing to our ongoing projects.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Design and draft detailed plans for sheet metal parts using Autodesk Inventor.
- Ensure all designs meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to translate designs into practical applications.
- Utilise Autodesk Vault for managing project files and documentation, if experienced.
- Adjust and revise designs as needed based on feedback from manufacturing and compliance teams.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of design processes, adjustments, and final specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Draughtsperson in a similar industry.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor is essential.
- Experience with Autodesk Vault is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of sheet metal part design and fabrication processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
