Description
As the Reliability Technician you responsibilities will be as follows;
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring Continuous improvement is carried out to improve productivity and machine efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults, structuring plans to prevent these in the future.
- Reliability focused using modern techniques such as TPM, RCA, RCM and FMEA.
- Support the continuous improvement culture and failure analysis agenda by analysing CMMS data to develop action plans to permanently solve problems by addressing the root cause.
- Lead problem solving sessions
- Support KPI analysis both weekly and monthly and ensure KPIs are met.
- Coaching and supporting reactive engineers to develop their skills on your assets.
- Develop and drive the execution of MTBF strategic improvement plans based on data analysis.
- Control of planned maintenance outages and events.
- Provide support for project activity and change initiatives as appropriate.
- PPM development to achieve the right balance of efficient (compliance) and effective (first time Fix) maintenance.
Profile
A successful Reliability Technician should have:
- A Minimum Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Multi Skilled Engineering
- Proven track record of CI, machine optimisation projects.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing equipment faults.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintenance tasks.
