Excellent opportunity for an experienced ACA or ACCA Audit Manager to join a highly regarded Practice in the Wigan area. Responsibilities will include:

  • Full remit of Audit from planning to completion a across your own portfolio of businesses (including construction, manufacturing, retail, hospitality)
  • Supervising junior audit and accounts staff
  • Identify and resolving complex audit matters - referring them on to the relevant partner as necessary
  • Ensuring files are complete and ready for Partner review
  • Liaise with clients to ensure a timely delivery of services
  • Managing client relationships
  • Organising and leading Audit Team Meetings
  • Managing staff appraisals and development

Applicants will be ACA or ACA Qualified and previous UK Audit experience is essential. You will have excellent communication skills and will be a team player used to working in a collaborative team where everyone works to support one another. Salary negotiable depending on skills, qualifications and experience (Envisaged £55k-£65k), 25 days hols, 3% pension, Good development/progression prospects, onsite parking. 100% office based (no hybrid) but with flexible start and end times around core hours. Applicants should live within a sensible commute. Sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.
