MONDAY - SATURDAY: 05.00 - 06.00 STARTS

£12.50 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Hindley Green, Wigan.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

You must undergo a DBS check for this role.

Rates of Pay

• Basic: £12.50 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a 3.5 Tonne Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Delivery of white goods to residential properties in a two-person team
• Manual handling and heavy lifting
• Complete pre-delivery calls to customers
• Provide excellent customer service at each delivery
• Follow Company procedures and comply with driving rules and regulations
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and vehicle is well presented at all times.

Essential Skills

As a 3.5 Tonne Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category B Driving Licence
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving Category B vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Must have good knowledge of UK road network
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills
• DBS check is required for this role

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
• Previous experience with heavy lifting and manual handling would be beneficial
