Class 1 Driver in Wigan

Ideal Recruit is currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join a well-established company in the Wigan area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers seeking long-term, consistent work with guaranteed weekly shifts and competitive pay rates.

• Full-time, ongoing work with guaranteed shifts every week

• Ad-hoc shifts also available

• Block bookings

• Early start times between 01:00 – 03:00

• Trunking work between depots and distribution centres

• Performing deliveries and collections

• No manual handling or handball involved

• £173 per shift (Monday to Friday, including holiday pay)

• £190 per shift (Saturday and Sunday, including holiday pay)

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Minimum 12 months’ experience as a Class 1 driver

• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)

• Up-to-date CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
