Right to Buy OfficerPermanent – Full TimeSalary: £26,000 - £35,000Location: Wigan / HybridThe RoleAs a Right to Buy Officer, you’ll play a vital role in managing Right to Buy and leasehold matters, ensuring legal compliance and high-quality customer service. You will be the key point of contact for tenants and leaseholders, guiding them through the process and helping them understand their responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the lead contact for all Right to Buy and leasehold enquiries
  • Provide clear and accurate guidance to customers on their rights and obligations
  • Manage shared ownership sales, staircasing, and resales
  • Ensure accurate calculation and validation of service charges
  • Support the collection and monitoring of service charges
  • Coordinate meetings related to leasehold matters and service charges
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legislation and council procedures
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
The CandidateWe're looking for someone with:
  • Experience in leasehold management and/or Right to Buy processes
  • Strong understanding of leasehold and Right to Buy legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in administrative and IT systems
  • A proactive, customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to travel across Wigan Borough if required
