Wills & Probate SolicitorLocation: Lancashire / Hybrid WorkingSalary: Competitive, Dependent on ExperienceA well-respected law firm is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Wills & Probate Solicitor to join its expanding team. Known for its commitment to nurturing legal talent, the firm offers genuine opportunities for career growth to professionals who are personable, knowledgeable, and client-focused.  The Role:You will be working on a broad range of private client matters, supporting clients with clear and practical legal advice. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Drafting bespoke, tax-efficient Wills tailored to individual circumstances.
  • Providing strategic advice on inheritance tax planning and asset preservation.
  • Advising on the establishment and use of lifetime trusts, particularly for care fee planning.
  • Administering estates, including those involving complex or taxable assets.
  • Managing the administration of trusts and ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney for clients and their families.
  • Making applications to the Court of Protection and advising on deputyship and related matters.
  What We’re Looking For:
  • A qualified Solicitor with experience handling a complex caseload
  • A solid foundation in private client law, particularly Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Tax Planning.
  • Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable manner when dealing with clients.
  • Confidence in managing your own caseload, with strong organisational skills.
  • A collaborative team player who is also capable of working independently.
  • A commercially aware and proactive individual with an interest in business development.
