We are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established and growing organisation. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Atherton, offering a hybrid working pattern of three days in the office and two days working from home.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will support a workforce of around 100 employees across a broad range of generalist HR responsibilities, providing first-line advice and ensuring HR processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage recruitment administration: posting vacancies, liaising with agencies, coordinating interviews, issuing contracts, and completing pre-employment checks

  • Lead the onboarding process, delivering inductions and ensuring new starter documentation is completed

  • Maintain and update HR systems (HealthboxHR and Uattend), including employee records, training logs, and absence data

  • Administer employee benefits, including pension, private medical, and other schemes

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing advice and signposting where necessary

  • Manage fleet administration, including licence checks and vehicle compliance

  • Support sickness and absence monitoring, including return-to-work processes

  • Assist with organising employee events and recognition programmes

  • Support appraisal processes and performance reviews by liaising with managers and maintaining records

  • Produce HR reports and assist with general administration tasks as required

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 3 qualified (Level 5 desirable)

  • Previous experience in a generalist HR advisory role within the private sector

  • Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload independently

  • Confident using HR systems and MS Office
