BX2 are recruiting for a Facilities and Contracts Lead for a well-established Manufacturing client based in the Wigan area. The purpose of this role is to lead all facilities, services and contractor activities, improvements and developments, and provide day-to-day support across the site.


Facilities & Contracts Lead

Skills, Experience, and education required:

Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Experience in Manufacturing and Facilities Management (Essential)

Experience managing contractors

A working knowledge of Monitor ERP system is desirable, as would the ability to use AutoCAD.

Self-motivated and flexible.


Facilities & Contracts Lead

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Ensure contractors and visitors comply with all current health, safety and environmental legislation and that contractors are closely monitored and supported during their time on site.

Generate a strategy for long term improvements of the site with awareness of the impact on the rest of the business processes and interactions.

Handle insurance plans and servicecontracts.

Plan and coordinate all installations andrefurbishments.

Manage the upkeep of buildings and services to meet health and safetystandards.

Inspect buildings, structures and grounds to determine the need for repairs or renovations.

Correspond withcontractors.

To maintain a good standard of house keeping within al work areas.

Handle materials safely, demonstrating the highest regard for the environment and our safety.

To adhere to the site Permit to Work system and follow all stipulatedcontrols.

To have a good understanding of safety and environmental legislation and HSE compliance.
