We are seeking a motivated and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join our team, a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wigan. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an outstanding ECT to become part of a supportive school community with a strong focus on high-quality teaching and learning.

About the Role:
As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners, while fostering a love of learning in a nurturing classroom environment. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards and ensure all pupils reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Assess, monitor and report on pupils' progress and attainment

  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment

  • Work effectively with teaching assistants, SEN staff and wider school team

  • Establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and school events

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS and has experience teaching in Key Stage 2

  • Has high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to raising achievement

  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Is reflective, adaptable, and open to continuous professional development

  • Is passionate about delivering a broad and balanced curriculum

  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
