We are seeking a motivated and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join our team, a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wigan. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an outstanding ECT to become part of a supportive school community with a strong focus on high-quality teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver well-structured and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
Assess, monitor and report on pupils' progress and attainment
Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
Work effectively with teaching assistants, SEN staff and wider school team
Establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and school events
We are looking for someone who:
Holds QTS and has experience teaching in Key Stage 2
Has high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to raising achievement
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
Is reflective, adaptable, and open to continuous professional development
Is passionate about delivering a broad and balanced curriculum
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
