Tradewind Teaching Agency is a leading education recruitment agency dedicated to supporting our educators every step of the way!

We are currently seeking an experienced HLTA to join our dedicated and friendly team at one of our schools in Wigan. The purpose of the role is to support teaching and learning within the class, supporting teaching staff with their responsibility for the development and education of children. The role requires enthusiasm, hard work and a passion for supporting high quality learning to maximise children's potential.

You will be working across both key stages. This is a full-time role Monday to Friday starting in September for the full academic year until July 2026.

The Primary School is a 1-form entry school with dedicated staff and supportive SLT.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Have a real passion of supporting children
  • Experience of working within KS1 & KS2
  • Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
