Our client is a specialist civil engineering contractor delivering high-quality infrastructure and enabling works across the UK. With a strong pipeline of projects and continued growth, they are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team and support the successful delivery of civils and regeneration schemes.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of civil engineering and regeneration projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will work closely with site teams, clients, and supply chain partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and in line with contractual requirements.



Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial management of civils and regeneration projects

  • Preparation and control of budgets, cost plans, and forecasts

  • Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers

  • Measurement, valuations, and cost reporting

  • Management of variations, change control, and compensation events

  • Preparation, submission, and agreement of interim applications and final accounts

  • Supporting risk and value management processes

  • Maintaining strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders



About You

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

  • Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within civils, infrastructure, or regeneration

  • Strong understanding of NEC and/or JCT contracts

  • Commercially astute with a proactive approach

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities

  • Full UK driving licence (desirable)
