We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Wigan who are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, with an ideal specialism in Biology and Chemistry. You will be joining a supportive department committed to raising attainment and fostering a love of Science amongst pupils.
The role:
- Teaching engaging Science lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Creating a positive classroom environment where all pupils can succeed
- Supporting students in preparation for GCSE exams
The school is looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS (or equivalent) and has experience teaching Science at secondary level
- Has strong subject knowledge in Biology and Chemistry
- Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and passionate about inspiring young learners
- Can quickly build rapport with staff and students alike

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
