SEN Tutor
Our SEN Tutors provide essential support to students with additional learning needs, helping them overcome barriers and achieve their full potential. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on learners lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored one-to-one or small group lessons in core subjects, adapting content and teaching strategies to meet individual needs. Create a safe, supportive learning environment that fosters confidence and engagement. Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents, carers, or professionals. Work collaboratively with schools and support staff to ensure consistency in learning plans.
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required. Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring students with SEN. Ability to adapt lessons for different learning styles and needs. Right to work in the UK. Enhanced DBS required.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience with EHCPs and supporting learners with conditions such as ASD, ADHD, or dyslexia. Specialist SEN training or additional qualifications.
