Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Panel Wirer to join our team, working on the assembly and wiring of electrical control panels for industrial spray booth systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in electrical wiring, a good eye for detail, and the ability to work from technical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly and wiring of electrical control panels for spray booths, both bespoke and standardised builds
Working from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
Mounting and wiring components such as contactors, relays, timers, PLCs, switches, and terminals
Performing continuity checks, testing, and fault finding prior to final installation
Ensuring wiring is neat, labelled, and completed to industry standards and company specifications
Collaborating with engineers and production staff to ensure timely and accurate builds
Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures on site

Key Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Panel Wirer in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents
Competent in safe use of hand tools, crimping tools, and wire strippers
Experience working on control panels for machinery, HVAC, or similar applications (spray booth experience desirable)
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team

Desirable Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering / Installation
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (beneficial but not essential)
Background in spray booth or industrial oven control systems (preferred)
