Calibration Engineer
Leicestershire
Up to £30,000 + bonus

A vacancy has arisen for a Calibration Engineer to carry out calibration, maintenance and servicing of pharmaceutical production equipment. This role would suit an up and coming engineer looking for a fantastic employer to grow and learn.

The Calibration Engineer will be responsible for:
- Proactive and reactive maintenance of pharmaceutical equipment - both 3rd party and
in-house designed.
- Be responsible for carrying out all disciplines of maintenance and calibration to
pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment
- Following company SOPs and producing documentation and certification which is clear,
precise and accurate
- Conduct failure analysis and put forward recommendations to alleviate future failures,
enhancing reliability.
- Using health & safety software to write risk assessments, COSHH assessments and permits to work when necessary.
- Creating and updating records in the company quality management system (Q-Pulse)

Calibration Engineer must:
- Have a minimum level 3 qualification in Engineering
- Be flexible to occasional extended hours/weekend work (In addition to a normal 37 hour, 5 day shift operation)
- Be comfortable working in a highly regulated environment (existing knowledge of GMP practices beneficial but not essential)
- Have experience using Microsoft Office suite
- Have an analytical mind with acute attention to detail
- Have good problem-solving abilities
- Be a strong team player
