Gi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with a manufacturing specialist. This company manufactures aerospace products and have been at the forefront of their industry on an international level.

Job Role:

As an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site.

Typical Duties will involve:

  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance of all equipment on site, Providing reactive and preventative maintenance (PPM's)
  • CNC and PLC fault finding
  • Attending to machinery breakdowns, fault finding processing equipment.
  • General onsite maintenance as and when required.
  • Working effectively alone as well as part of a team of engineers onsite.
  • Support the maintenance team with upcoming critical construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Working with Pneumatics and Hydraulics

Desirable experience

  • Have to have a relevant Engineering qualification (electrical)
  • Experience as a participant or facilitator in RCM, FMEA, TPM and other maintenance programs / methodologies.
  • Have to be experienced in a face passed manufacturing environment.
  • Casting Furnaces,
  • Large Hydraulic Roberts
  • Electronic Robots,
  • Automated systems,Wax Injection Moulding Machines,
  • Compressors, EDM
  • CNC milling machines
  • Inspection equipment
  • Lighting and component inspection equipment.
  • Follow up actions to be performed will include replacement or repair of: electrical & electronic components, switches, proximity and limit switches, and machine safety guards.
