Position Details:
Contract Type: Temporary March 2026
Hourly Rate: 15.79
Weekly Hours: 37 hour per week 9am to 5pm
Location: Tigers Road, Leicester
Working Pattern: Full Time Monday to Friday
What You'll Do:
As a Vetting Researcher, your main responsibilities will include:
Receiving and processing information from computer systems related to requests from authorised agencies.
Interrogating computerised systems to obtain information regarding Vetting and Disclosure issues.
Validating and creating records on the Police National Computer system.
Providing advice and assistance to Force members via personal and telephone calls.
Maintaining accurate filing systems and updating records as required.
Who You Are:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in English Language, or relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in a clerical/administrative role with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in IT software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Desirable Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Data Protection, Human Rights legislation, and Freedom of Information.
