Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a CNC Press Brake & Punch Operator on behalf of a growing and respected manufacturing company near Cullompton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled sheet metal operative to join a supportive, friendly, and fast-paced production team.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 40-hour week.
Overtime available at enhanced rates:
- Weekday OT at flat rate.
- Saturday OT at time and a half.
- Sunday OT at double time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC Press Brake and punching machines to produce sheet metal components.
- Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.
- Work with rollers, guillotines, and other fabrication equipment.
- Measure and cut sheet metal accurately to specification.
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards.
- Work independently to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working with CNC Press Brake and/or punching machines.
- Strong sheet metal fabrication background.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
