Overview:

We're currently seeking an experienced Sprinkler Design Engineer for a 3-6 month contract working on a variety of building types, from residential and domestic to commercial, industrial and educational projects.

This role offers the flexibility of remote or hybrid working, based out of Wolverhampton. You'll be working closely with project teams to deliver compliant, efficient, and accurate fire sprinkler system designs using AutoCAD and Revit.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed sprinkler design drawings and schematics in accordance with BS EN 12845 and LPCB standards.

  • Collaborate with project managers and contractors to meet project milestones.

  • Prepare technical documentation, layout drawings and calculations.

  • Liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams throughout project lifecycle.

  • Ensure design compliance with relevant fire protection standards and regulations.



Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sprinkler system design across multiple sectors.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

  • Strong understanding of LPC and BS EN 12845 standards.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setup.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
