HGV 1 Driver

An exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious clients based in Wednesbury has become available for HGV 1 drivers on block bookings with a view to temp to perm opportunities.

As an HGV 1 Driver you will be responsible for:

Driving HGV class 1 vehicle
Completing vehicle checks
General haulage deliveries
Ensuring loads are secure (using rachet straps)
Completing paperwork and taking load pictures
Using a handheld device for deliveries

To be considered for this HGV Driver role you will need:

C+E Licence + in date CPC and Tachograph card.
Held C+E category for 2 years (more than 1 year may be considered)
Minimum 6 months experience
Competent in using rachet straps
No more than 6 points (no DD, DR, IN endorsements
Available Monday to Friday

PAYE HGV Driver Pay Rates and benefits are as follows:

Days - £16.00
Nights - £17.00
Saturdays - £18.00
Sundays - £20.00
Block bookings (4 weeks per block)
Potential temp to perm
