Description

The duties include:

  • Ensuring all rent, service charges and other billable transactions are invoiced accurately
  • Engaging and support to resolve invoicing issues and contractual queries
  • Preparing annual Service Charge Budgets
  • Securing the Budget's approval
  • Maintaining a rolling five-year forecast of the property's annual service charges
  • Issuing annual budget packs to property occupants
  • Throughout the year monitoring of actual costs against budget.
  • Investigating deviations to avoid surprises and understand causes.
  • Monitoring of utility costs and early identification of significant costs against void properties to prevent unnecessary landlord expenditure.
  • Reviewing the transaction listings to identify and correct erroneous postings.
  • Finalising the year end position and producing service charge accounts for approval.
  • Updating Qube with the final position, including accruals, prepayment and sinking fund journals to enable the invoicing or crediting of balancing charges to clients.

Profile

The successful candidate MUST:

  • Have experience working in a similar role - Essential
  • Have worked in the property sector - Desirable
  • Be highly organised with excellent communication skills - Essential
  • Have experience with budget and variance analysis - Desirable
  • Be comfortable using MS Excel - Essential
