Description
The duties include:
- Ensuring all rent, service charges and other billable transactions are invoiced accurately
- Engaging and support to resolve invoicing issues and contractual queries
- Preparing annual Service Charge Budgets
- Securing the Budget's approval
- Maintaining a rolling five-year forecast of the property's annual service charges
- Issuing annual budget packs to property occupants
- Throughout the year monitoring of actual costs against budget.
- Investigating deviations to avoid surprises and understand causes.
- Monitoring of utility costs and early identification of significant costs against void properties to prevent unnecessary landlord expenditure.
- Reviewing the transaction listings to identify and correct erroneous postings.
- Finalising the year end position and producing service charge accounts for approval.
- Updating Qube with the final position, including accruals, prepayment and sinking fund journals to enable the invoicing or crediting of balancing charges to clients.
Profile
The successful candidate MUST:
- Have experience working in a similar role - Essential
- Have worked in the property sector - Desirable
- Be highly organised with excellent communication skills - Essential
- Have experience with budget and variance analysis - Desirable
- Be comfortable using MS Excel - Essential
