Description
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Manage a team of junior accountants and financial professionals
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial legislation and standards
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations
- Conduct regular audits and identify areas for financial improvement
- Prepare and present financial forecasts to senior management
- Lead the budget planning process and monitor financial performance
- Implement effective strategies to optimise financial health and sustainability
Profile
A successful Group Accountant should have:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial management principles
- Experience with consolidating accounts.
- Previous experience in working within a PLC.
