Paraplanner

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a leading independent financial advice business in Stockport. Our client are dedicated to helping clients navigate complex financial markets with confidence. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in the Operations team, working closely with financial planners to provide essential research and report writing services.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Client Interaction: Understand clients' financial situations and objectives to provide tailored support.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis across various financial planning areas such as pensions, investments, and estate planning.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare detailed recommendation reports and maintain high standards of documentation and compliance.
  • Client Record Maintenance: Keep client records accurate and up-to-date using back-office systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualifications: Must have attained the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning and have at least three years of experience in a Paraplanning role.
  • Knowledge: Broad knowledge in financial planning, including pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning. Experience in an IFA/Wealth Management environment is required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organisation, customer service, and teamwork skills. Proficiency in using financial planning technologies and research tools like Intelligent Office, Finametrica, and FE Analytics is highly desirable.
