Accounts Assistant - Near Alderley Edge - Permanent - up to £30K DOE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our client based near Alderley Edge. This is a full time permanent role working Monday - Friday 8.30-4.30pm.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Process purchase orders
- Process and check invoices against orders
- Acting as the main point of contact for all queries
- Sales invoice processing
- Creditor statement reconciliations
- Support with system change
- General admin to support the wider team
Requirements
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred, with a solid understanding of accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new systems and processes within the financial services sector.
