  • This role is temporary to permanent after an initial 12 weeks, and full training will be provided with excellent career progression opportunities.

We are recruiting for Production Operatives on behalf of our client in Tamworth to work at a leading manufacturer producing G.R.P (Glass Reinforced Plastic) building products.

The company are a well established company in Tamworth & have been operating for over 40 years. They are now in another period of growth and as construction industry peaks we are hiring for new Production Operatives.

All roles will be Temp to Perm after an initial 12 weeks for the right candidates.

4 DAY WORKING WEEK!!!

Hours are Monday - Thursday 6am - 4.30PM

4 Day Week - 1 in 4 Fridays are potentially worked - however if targets are hit this Friday is paid but not worked which is a unique offering!!

This is a physical role and can involve some heavy lifting

Experience in the following would be advantageous

  • GRP Manufacturing
  • Carpentry or Woodwork
  • It would be beneficial if you have worked in a manufacturing / factory environment before
  • Working with machinery & hand tools
  • Working well as part of a team and individually
  • Working to targets

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring Health and Safety is adhered to at all times
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Flexible approach
  • Good attention to detail

Initial Registration with MET and then a site interview & walk round with Client

Full training will be given and there are excellent career progression opportunities
