We are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join our Whiteley based Cost focused Management Accounts team.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to take the lead on managing an existing team, in a role that offers plenty of variety, with operational as well as management accounting responsibilities. It's a broad, rewarding role that blends financial reporting, team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement - all within a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.

As our Senior Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for the accurate accounting, reporting and budgeting of the Group's operating costs. You'll lead a team of four, supporting and developing them as you oversee everything from prepayments and payroll journals to fixed assets, IFRS 16 postings, and intercompany transactions. You'll also play a key role in reviewing monthly management accounts, maintaining financial controls, and driving improvements across processes.

You'll work closely with cost centre owners, helping them understand their budgets and performance, and you'll be a trusted partner to both internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and our group support colleagues. Your remit will also include oversight of the purchase ledger, ensuring vendor payments, reconciliations and VAT requirements are managed accurately and efficiently.

To succeed in this role, you'll need;

  • To be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience managing teams and working to tight deadlines.
  • You'll bring strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Just as importantly, you'll be someone who embraces change, stays curious, and is committed to developing yourself and those around you.

In return, you'll join a team that's driven by purpose, passionate about what they do, and focused on building something that matters. We offer flexible working, opportunities for growth, and a culture that truly supports inclusion, wellbeing, and development.

If you're ready to take on a role with real impact, where your skills, insight, and leadership will help shape the future of our business, we'd love to hear from you.
