Salary: £27-29,000 DOE

A well-established and design-led architectural practice with over 35 years of experience is seeking a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join its dedicated and collaborative team. With a strong reputation for delivering carefully considered architecture that blends contemporary design with contextual sensitivity, the studio works across a diverse range of sectors including education, private residential, heritage and conservation, ecclesiastical, and commercial projects. Their portfolio features award-winning work with independent schools, listed buildings, and bespoke homes, underpinned by a clear commitment to sustainability, detail, and design excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of design proposals and visual presentation materials
  • Contribute to planning applications, technical drawings, and detail design packages
  • Support CAD modelling and produce high-quality renderings
  • Attend and contribute to design meetings and site visits
  • Coordinate with consultants and project teams across RIBA stages

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • RIBA Part 2 qualification
  • A strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and clarity
  • Experience with CAD modelling and rendering software such as Enscape, V-Ray, or Twinmotion
  • An interest in sectors such as education, heritage, and bespoke housing
  • A proactive, organised, and enthusiastic approach with good communication skills
