Customer Service/Sales Assistant | Hampshire | Full Time| £26,000 - £30,000 per annum
Our client, the UK's leading Trailer Parts Supplier, is on the lookout for a proactive and motivated Customer Service/Sales Assistant to join their team.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive attitude with the ability to identify tasks and take initiative without being asked
- Confidence in following up with customers, suppliers, or team members to ensure tasks are completed effectively
- Comfortable chasing up sales and orders to ensure timely fulfilment and customer satisfaction
- Interest in learning and using technology to improve workflow and efficiency
- Basic mechanical understanding is helpful but not essential — full training will be given
What will your role look like?
- Act as the first point of contact for customers and visitors — by phone, and via email
- Manage ticketing systems to log, prioritise and follow up on customer requests and internal support needs
- Proactively follow up on outstanding sales and order enquiries to support the sales process
- Set up and maintain simple workflows using digital tools (training provided)
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a smooth customer journey
- Use AI tools to assist with follow-ups, calendar scheduling, and task automation
- Maintain a tidy and professional front-of-house area
- Manage meeting room bookings as and when required
