Our client, a well-established chemical manufacturing organisation, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Process Chemist to join their team.
The ideal candidate will hold degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline, along with several years of experience in a pilot plant, production, or technical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage technical projects related to the development and operation of novel process pilot plants
- Oversee and support laboratory and process operations
- Contribute to strategic planning and ensure adherence to budgetary targets
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety management systems
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the chemicals industry
- Proven track record in management or technical leadership
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to align with customer needs
- Experience working in an accredited quality-controlled environment
- Solid working knowledge of safety management practices
- Experience supervising or managing laboratory and technical staff
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly
