Preschool Manager

Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of an Outstanding rated Preschool who are looking to employ a Term-Time Preschool Manager for their setting based near Micheldever, Winchester. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong background in early childhood education and a nurturing approach towards children. This is a term-time only setting, meaning it is a great opportunity for someone looking to have school holidays free with their family.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Plan, implement, and monitor the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring that it meets the needs of all children and aligns with the school's overall educational philosophy.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise preschool staff, including qualified staff members and trainees. Ensure that all staff are following best practices and adhering to relevant regulations.
  • Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios in accordance with EYFS guidelines, including supervision of trainees as required.
  •  Prioritize the safety and well-being of children, ensuring that the preschool environment is secure and conducive to learning
  • Build strong relationships with parents, communicating effectively and involving them in their child's education.
  • Oversee the daily operation of the preschool room, including organization of resources, cleaning, and maintenance.
  • Monitor the quality of education and care provided, ensuring that the preschool meets or exceeds relevant standards.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience in early years education and care
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and relevant regulations
