Role Overview
A skilled Fire & Security Engineer – Service is required to join a growing team. This position focuses heavily on Access Control systems and will involve servicing and maintaining various security and life safety systems. Ideal for someone with a strong technical background who wants to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintenance of fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and intercom systems
- Diagnose and repair faults across a variety of industry-leading systems
- Deliver high standards of customer service on-site
- Participate in an on-call rota (1 in 5 weeks)
- Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
- Work an 8-hour flexible day, with paid travel time

- Access Control: Grosvenor, Brevo, Paxton, TDSI
- CCTV: Avigilon, Flir, Dahua, Hikvision, IndigoVision
- Intruder Alarms: Ajax, Pyronix, Texecom
- Entry Systems: Aiphone, BPT, Comelit, Videx
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Strong knowledge of Access Control systems
- Proven experience with fire and security systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Located within 30 minutes of Barnet, Broomfield, Kent, or Hampshire client sites
Desirable:
- Experience working on NHS or public sector sites
- Familiarity with current fire/safety compliance standards
- Desire to train and progress within the business
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £35,000 – £43,000 DOE
- Pension: 3% employer contribution
- Company Vehicle: Van or car with personal use, fuel/credit card included
- On-Call Payment: £175 per week standby
