Description

The Commercial Operations Manager - UK Sports Shooting role will involve the successful candidate overseeing my client's sales office, the operations function and warehouse functions - a pivotal role in supporting the brand portfolio, ensuring exceptional dealer service, operational efficiency as well as compliance with health and safety and ISO standards.   • lead and motivate the teams
  • maintain high standards of appearance, attendance and motivation
  • ensure the team are always up to date with product knowledge and technical expertise
  • work hand in hand in hand with the Head of Sales, General Manager and all other heads of departments
  • drive sales growth alongside the head of sales through the sales and admin office
  • oversee and manage stock rotation and order management
  • continually review all team performance against company objectives

This role is based 5 days per week from the Hampshire site. Plus, being able to travel nationally and internationally for the role is essential.

Profile

The Commercial Operations Manager - UK Sports Shooting will come with the following skills and experiences.

  • experience of managing a sales team, sales admin team or customer service team
  • either from the shooting industry or an active or competitive shooter or with a very keen interest in sports shooting with a strong technical product understanding
  • operational experience including a warehouse environment
  • experienced in customer service and staff management - direct team reports
  • strong understanding of SOPs and H&S/regs
  • proven track record in operations, understanding of effective selling skills and strong understanding of commercial and corporate objectives
  • highly organised and process driven, strives to maintain high standards at all times, as well as a very professional approach to responsibilities
  • flexible and adaptable approach and style
  • excellent modern leadership capabilities
  • IT literate, experience with software programs and CRM
  • excellent personal drive and ambitions to improve
  • roll sleeves up mentality
