Learning and Development Co-ordinator

Our client, a forward-thinking organisation based in Winchester, is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Learning and Development Co-ordinator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in designing and delivering impactful learning experiences that support growth and development across the business and would suit a candidate with experience coordinating, scheduling or administrative experience gained within projects.

The ideal candidate will be confident in building strong relationships across all levels of the business and will be comfortable liaising with, advising, and consulting stakeholders.

As the Learning and Development Co-ordinator, you'll contribute to the effective delivery of training and development initiatives across the organisation. You'll manage specific projects and programmes, working closely with the Head of Central L&D and a supportive, collaborative team. Your goal will be to ensure that learning remains dynamic, relevant, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of specific learning initiatives, such as speaking clubs and people manager training, and regularly review their effectiveness.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders to understand development needs and provide tailored learning solutions.
  • Oversee specific areas of the Learning Management System (LMS), including content creation and ongoing optimisation.
  • Collaborate with the wider L&D team on both departmental and organisation-wide projects.
  • Stay up to date with internal developments and industry trends, contributing innovative ideas to enhance learning delivery.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking someone who is confident, well-organised, and tech-savvy, with a genuine passion for Learning and Development. You should be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

You’ll Ideally Have:

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with an LMS or HR system is a plus
  • A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • A high level of attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
  • A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to enhance processes
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a flexible approach to challenges
  • An active interest in emerging learning and development practices
