Temporary Credit Controller
- Contract: Temporary (3–6 months)

- Salary: £13–£16 per hour (depending on experience)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Temporary Credit Controller to join our clients finance team in Basingstoke. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for numbers to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Chasing outstanding payments via phone, email, and letter.
- Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts.
- Investigating and resolving invoice queries.
- Monitoring aged debt and escalating issues where necessary.
- Producing regular reports for management.
- Supporting the wider finance team as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
